Overview
Canon's 18x50 IS binoculars contain an optical image stabilizer for shake-free viewing, developed for Canon video camcorders and now available in many of their binoculars. The Vari-Angle Prism, dual transparent plates, and independent sensors work together to adjust the prism and maintain a steady image. They are also water-resistant and have long eye relief for added comfort. Canon's IS technology eliminates image shake and is used in the television industry. The Super Spectra Coating reduces reflection and increases brightness. The magnification and objective lens size are important factors in choosing the right binoculars.
