The Heliopan Yellow Medium-Dark (12) Filter is designed to enhance contrast and tonal separation in black-and-white photography. By reducing blue light transmission, it darkens blue skies, increases cloud definition, and improves overall image depth while maintaining a natural tonal balance.

Constructed in Germany using premium SCHOTT optical glass, this filter delivers outstanding sharpness and optical clarity. The slim brass mount is engineered for durability and smooth threading while minimizing the risk of sticking on the lens.

Its low-profile design helps prevent vignetting on wide-angle lenses, and unlike many slim filters, it retains a front accessory thread for additional filters, lens caps, or hoods.
