The Heliopan 8038 Slim Low-Profile SH-PMC Multi-Coated Circular Polarizing Filter with brass frame is designed to boost color saturation, improve contrast, and reduce reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass, and painted finishes. By controlling reflected light and atmospheric haze, the filter helps produce deeper blue skies, richer foliage, and clearer overall image detail.

Its rotating filter ring allows photographers to precisely adjust the level of polarization depending on lighting conditions and shooting angle. The strongest polarization effect is typically achieved when shooting at approximately 90 degrees to the sun.
