The Heliopan Yellow Medium (8) Filter is a versatile black-and-white contrast filter that delivers stronger tonal separation than a light yellow filter while maintaining a natural photographic appearance. It reduces blue light more noticeably, helping to darken skies, enhance cloud structure, and improve clarity in outdoor scenes.

Especially well suited for landscape and architectural photography, this filter increases contrast in hazy conditions and performs particularly well in low-angle sunlight. The result is richer grayscale rendering with improved depth and detail throughout the image.

Manufactured in Germany using precision-polished SCHOTT optical glass, the filter provides exceptional sharpness and consistent optical quality. The slim brass mount offers durability and smooth threading while helping prevent sticking or binding on the lens.
