This lovely Leica M3 single stroke rangefinder 35mm film camera was manufactured in 1966. Its serial number is 1157812. It comes in its original case and has its original manual. This camera was recently evaluated and film tested by Lev Gutman of Baltimore Photo-Electronic Services. Lev has 45 years of experience evaluating and repairing Leica cameras. The camera does show signs of use. There are tool marks in a few spots, a few light scratches and scuff marks on the top and bottom. There is also a few small chips to the black finish on the rear of the camera. The case is missing one of its snaps. See photos for details. The speed dial is on a very, very slight tilt, but it does not affect either speed accuracy or the long term health of the camera. The original Vulcanite was replaced a few years ago with an excellent substitute. The rangefinder is properly adjusted and the viewfinder is clear. This camera is ready for your Leica lens and some film!
