The Phenix DC303N is a manual SLR with a Pentax PK-mount and comes with a 50mm lens. The DC303N is a higher specified camera than the also newly launched Phenix DC303K and offers value for money at a price of 109.99.
As well as features including centre-weighted TTL metering, LED exposure display in the viewfinder and an ISO film speed to 3200, the DC303N also includes depth-of-field and multiple exposure buttons. The camera, which uses 10L14 batteries, includes a 50mm f1.7 lens with 52mm filter thread and a free leather-look case worth 10. The DC303N is guaranteed for 12 months, providing a replacement camera within this term (when returned with box and full documentation).
The DC303N is an ideal camera for learning photography. Sales Director of Firstcall Photographic Rodney Bates said: "Despite views to the contrary, digital is not the quintessential element of picture-taking today. In particular, when learning the mechanics of photography, a film based option is infinitely superior."
